“Fabapalooza” – Where “Mad” Meets “Fab” in the Center Ring
Ladies and gentlemen, for your enjoyment, titillation, and entertainment, we direct your attention to the center ring as Destination Fabulous DMC, Las Vegas’ premier destination-management and event-production company, proudly presents “Fabapalooza,” an over-the-top “Circus of the Imagination” where just about anything goes.
Our inspiration for this “turnkey” event that falls under the umbrella of ,Couture Events, obviously comes from Lollapalooza which is an annual music festival featuring popular alternative rock, heavy metal, punk rock, hip hop, and EDM bands and artists, dance and comedy performances and craft booths.
Conceived and created in 1991 by Jane’s Addiction singer Perry Farrell as a farewell tour for his band, Lollapalooza ran annually until 1997, and was revived in 2003. From its inception through 1997 and its revival in 2003, the festival toured North America. In 2005, Farrell and the William Morris Agency partnered with Austin, Texas–based company Capital Sports Entertainment (now C3 Presents) and retooled it into its current format as a weekend destination festival in Grant Park, Chicago, Illinois.
However, there is no need to take a trip to the “Windy City” to experience the sights, sounds, and shenanigans that await you and your guests as this Couture Event is in reach with either a phone call or a text to our trademarked service ProCall 24/7.
Let’s set the stage for an event that truly is the theatre of the absurd, an event dare I say that will truly blow your attendees minds and make your soiree the talk of the convention tradeshow floor.
“Let The Fab Games Begin!”
Costumed “ringmasters” greet your guests as they arrive at our madcap Big Top made out to look like a multi-colored circus tent. Brightly illuminated tables, changing colors throughout the night, dot the space. White drape adorns the ceiling giving the room a tent-like feel.
Once inside, they’ll experience a frenzied spectacle of nonstop entertainment provided by a crazy cast of outrageous performers, including contortionists, stilt walkers, belly dancers, unique variety acts, aerialists, snake charmers, magicians, weirdly attired “little people,” sword-swallowers, fire-breathers, and other oddities. A house DJ plays an eclectic mix of up-tempo dance music. Your guests can even take a chance at the “carnival midway,” with attractions like “skee-ball,” “ring toss,” and other classic games of skill (DraftKings & FanDuel not available).
But what takes this zany, madcap, and truly unique circus-themed event completely over the top is the Cirque-styled entertainment such as an aerialist who pours champagne while suspended upside down, or a ball walker, a chair balancer or even the amazing German Wheel performance. Wearing colorful and inventive costumes, these talented Cirque performers offer multiple photo ops for your guests.
True to “Fabapalooza’s” circus-like atmosphere, guests also enjoy classic circus-style food, including popcorn, peanuts, soft drinks, sliders, chicken wings, nachos, and cotton candy. Costumed “living tables” also offer a variety of tray-passed hors d’oeuvres, Jell-O shots, and libations while multiple bar stations pour an array of beverages, including beers, top-shelf liquors, and the event’s signature “Green Fairy” absinthe cocktail, made famous for its mildly hallucinogenic properties by such notable artists as Ernest Hemmingway, Vincent van Gogh, Marilyn Manson, and others. It will not only heighten your senses, but give you a whole new perspective on our warped circus reality. (What’s that hovering above the tent? Could it be a green fairy? No. It’s just an intoxicating seduction of your mind.)
More than just a circus. More than just an experience. Destination Fabulous’ “Fabapalooza” event will take your guests on an unforgettable trip through a bizarre “psycho-circus” that defies rational thought. We invite you to suspend belief and put your inhibitions aside, as you embrace a new dimension of edgy entertainment that can only be described as: “where mad meets fab!”
