LAS VEGAS DMC POWER SHOPPING 101

LAS VEGAS DMC POWER SHOPPING 101

‘Cause we are living in a material world
And I am a material girl

– Madonna (circa 1985)

T-25 days and counting until lift off with the bearded one (and I don’t mean Mrs. Claus)! My oh my, how time flies, especially with Rudolph at the helm. Another year has passed, including last week’s Thanksgiving dinner, which has now expanded my waistline to a size 2 (at least in Prada couture, gotta love those European sizes). Las Vegas DMC’s know event planning, but what we also know are the secrets to Las Vegas shopping. Remember, my blog Retail Experiences Are the New Black?  While you are perusing the stores and checking off your Christmas list, be sure to make note of where you want to stage your next retail experience event for your valued clients. Retail is King and so are your customers. We’ve done the recon for you, now read on.

SHOPAHOLICS

You can spend money in every way imaginable in Las Vegas, but the best way to actually leave with what you paid for is to go shopping. I consider it one of your better options in terms of having something to show for your empty wallet. Go for broke and bet on black – as in LBD (Little Black Dress) – and leave Vegas in style as opposed to the “walk of shame.”

If your taste tends to be on the extravagant side, you will want to schedule in some serious time at the luxury shops of Crystals and Via Bellagio. They’re close in proximity to one another other if you’re not wearing Choos (as in Jimmy). Also, you may be surprised to hear that there are at least 7 Louis Vuitton Boutiques (that I know of) within less than ½ mile on the Las Vegas Strip. If these are a little too pricey for you, check out Fashion Show mall at the north end of the Strip, Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino and The Forum Shops at Caesars.

For charming little shops paired with a Vegas-only touch, head off the Strip to the Downtown Container Park. It’s made from up-cycled shipping containers, and is home to hipster artsy boutiques, galleries, restaurants, live music and even a play area for the kiddos.

SECRET UNDISCLOSED LOCATION

Psst… do you want to know a little secret? There’s a designer clearance center located in the meadows that is a stone’s throw away from the springs that will send even the most seasoned bargain shopper into cardiac arrest. I’m talking Kors, Lauren, and Klein for starters.  I know, get the paddles out and jumpstart your AmEx for some serious heart-palpitating savings. Wanna know more? Email me at [email protected] for directions to where X marks the spot, and let me know if you need a personal shopper!

Here’s to making a list and checking it twice. I know who’s been naughty or nice.

So be good for goodness sake,

Belinda
