Tenors Of Rock

The jig is up, the news is out
They’ve finally found me
The renegade who had it made
Retrieved for a bounty

Never more to go astray
The judge will have revenge today
On the wanted man
STYX – Renegade

Indeed, the news is out and the Tenors of Rock are without question The Strip’s new renegades of rock! To steal a line and song title from AC/DC… “For those about to rock, we salute you!” As finalists from The X Factor UK, the Tenors of Rock perform a virtual jukebox juggernaut of the most beloved rock anthems and the biggest songs of all time from legendary British bands and our own homegrown American “Rock Gods.”

The Tenors of Rock appear at Harrah’s main showroom Wednesday – Sunday at 8 P.M., and tickets start at $35 (plus taxes and fees). Trust me on this: there isn’t a bad seat in the house. The worst seat in this showroom is a great seat anywhere else, and the price point alone gives you the best bang for your buck as far as a live Las Vegas show is concerned. This show has replaced Million Dollar Quartet, which had a phenomenal run at Harrah’s that featured the famed songs of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins. Talk about big shoes to fill… the songs that emanated from this showroom were not only Broadway-worthy, they were and are an iconic slice of rock ’n’ roll Americana.

Anything following Million Dollar Quartet was set for failure. Seriously, how do you top the music of “The King of Rock ’n’ Roll,” “The Man in Black,” “The Killer,” and the man named ”Blue Suede Shoes?” Talk about tough acts to follow. But never fear, along came five burly Brits who set out to conquer the hearts and minds of heavy metal headbangers from anywhere and everywhere hungry for rock be it Hard, Glam, or Hair.

Stand up and be counted for what you are about to receive
We are the dealers
We’ll give you everything you need
Hail hail to the good times
Cos rock has got the right of way
We ain’t no legends ain’t no cause
We’re just livin’ for today
For those about to rock, we salute you

These British frontmen, backed by a full band and masterfully choreographed dancers (who by the way will make any heavy metal chick think twice about dipping her toes into the “Lady Pond”), bring reimagined versions of rock ’n’ roll renditions of treasured songs from iconic groups like Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Queen, The Rolling Stones, and more. This “FAB 5” may not have the moves like Jagger, but the accompanying dancers more than make up for their lack of dancing prowess. (Did I mention that any heavy metal chick may think twice about dipping her toes into the “Lady Pond”? Just checking…)

From thousands of sold-out arenas and festivals around the world to earning instant acclaim as finalists on The X Factor UK, the Tenors of Rock continually push beyond the boundaries of live entertainment. Tight harmonies and wide-ranging vocals are flawlessly delivered on the greatest sing-out-loud songs from the ’60s through present day (One Direction tunes not included) and are featured in a high-octane show with stunning sets and all of the showmanship that made the songs famous.

***SPOILER ALERT! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!***

Any legit Queen fan knows that Bohemian Rhapsody is nothing short of a modern-day masterpiece. “BoRhap” as it is known to super fans is quintessential Queen at its best. And of course, it is featured in the Tenors of Rock show and performed in such painstaking detail that the Tenors all but make themselves the true heirs to this British coda.

I see a little silhouetto of a man,
Scaramouche, Scaramouche, will you do the Fandango?
Thunderbolt and lightning,
Very, very frightening me.
(Galileo) Galileo.
(Galileo) Galileo,
Galileo Figaro
Magnifico-o-o-o-o.

This song is so delicious you’ll want to hear it again and again. Las Vegas DMC Destination Fabulous rates the production 5 out of 5 stars, and strongly recommends the show for your next corporate function or event! Need tickets to this fabulous Las Vegas show to blow away your guests? Tenors of Rock is just one of the many dazzling Las Vegas entertainment productions that are available for booking through Destination Fabulous’ XtremeEntertainment™.

Rockin’ nightly at Harrah’s, the Tenors of Rock will leave you begging for more, or at the very least begging for mercy from the ear-splitting decibels that will shatter your eardrums with sheer delight.

Buddy you’re a boy make a big noise,
Belinda
